Launched in 2006, The Duvall Farmers
Market specializes in offering fresh, locally-grown and certified
organic farm based foods, value-added products and also celebrates
those who craft with their own hands the items they sell.
The market also offers a wide range of
sponsored family programs and enjoys the celebration of many types
of foods.
Each week the market features free
performances by talented area musicians and a culinary Tasting
Station where shoppers can sample delectable taste treats prepared
by local guest Chefs who will use farm fresh ingredients found
throughout the market. The Tasting Station is also a great place to
pick up delicious recipes or learn new tips on how to prepare a
certain food item that you may find in the market that week!
Each week, children of all
ages enjoy creating a free make-n-take art project or will
experience a fun hands-on activity at the Children's Activity
Booth, sponsored by one of our many local organizations and local
business community.
The Duvall Farmers Market is all
about community and serves as a connection between local restaurants
and farmers and provides a venue for area non-profits to engage with
the community.
The Duvall Farmers Market celebrates
its 4th season in 2009 and is located in Historic downtown Duvall
which is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the
Snoqualmie River Valley.
The Duvall Farmers Market is filled
with Farmers and Artisans from the Snoqualmie valley and beyond,
bringing with them a bountiful selection of:

The Duvall Farmers
Market is one of twenty Farmers Markets across the State of
Washington who have been awarded the
Washington State Farmers Market Association (WSFMA)
Wireless Technology Pilot Project Grant which was made
possible through the Local Farms-Healthy Kids Initiative.
The final bill provides for
$50,000 to be awarded by WSFMA, through Washington’s
Department of Social and Health Services, to assist farmers
markets in developing the capacity to accept wireless
electronic payment cards. Twenty rural and urban markets from
eastern and western Washington were selected through a
competitive grant process to participate in this 2 year
program. We are proud that Duvall has been selected!
