The City of Duvall states that there are 5,845 + people living in what is referred to as one of the fastest growing communities in the state. The City was named after James Duvall, a logger, who homesteaded in 1871. Duvall is a small, yet diverse city, rich in history and tradition.

Our residents represent many walks of life and represent an exciting cross section of occupations and cultures. Duvall is located 25 miles northeast of Seattle, halfway between Monroe and Carnation, and is fast becoming a favorite residential community for both commuters and for those who choose to conduct business in a small town setting.

Introduction

The Duvall Farmers Market hosts a seasonal market offering of fresh, locally-grown and certified organic produce, fruits and berries, varietal honey, herbs, prepared foods, and hand-crafted products direct to Snoqualmie Valley and beyond.

Launched in 2006, the Duvall Farmers Market hosts a wide range of family programs and food celebrations, including weekly live entertainment, demos by local chefs and experts, homemade/homegrown taste contests and weekly children’s activities. The market also serves as a connection between the local restaurants and farmers and provides a venue for area non-profits to engage with the community.

Beginning in 2006, the market averaged over 300 people who shopped each day. In 2007, the market averaged over 500 patrons each day. At last count approximately 13,000 vehicles travel past the market each week. The Duvall Farmers Market anticipates another record-breaking attendance with our expanded market offerings, special events and increased promotions.
